After looking at the lyric video for Olly Murs "Back Around", Alex and I discussed looking at promotional ideas for our music video. We thought about different ways of promoting our artist through our video as well as the rest of our digipak. I like the way they have used the album cover and details about the albums release and i think it would be a good way to promote our artist.We are currently considering looking into using this idea in our music video. I like how he uses a sell line for the video and he uses a digipak front image.
Things I like about the front cover:
- A motion blur is used on his jacket to pull the colour from it. This suggests that he is not only fast pace but as the sell line is also used, it shows that is album will go quick so the audience must buy is quick.
- He has used a vibrant blue which is a common colour for Olly. The blue suggest he is a vibrant, young, modern male with traditional values which appeals to an older audience. This colour also suggests tranquility and appeals to a global audience as in America, the colour blue is scene as a corporate, business colour.
